Marpet SRL was created in 2002 by Andrea Ravagnan, its charter member. He had always loved animals and nature, and used nature as an inspiration.
From the start, Marpets mission has been to feed nutritiously and guarantee dogs and cats a well rounded diet in order to prevent illnesses related to food, such as intolerances and food allergies.
Marpet entered the market with the most poor in protein and hypoallergenic line of food, with properties that are unique for this type of product thanks to the use of purifier and medicinal plants. The most important people in the company are the director, Mr. Andrea Ravagnan, and Dr. Mario Cavestro, the technical and sales manager who is in charge of the formulation of the food, and who also keeps track of the net of national territory informers.
Today Marpet has nine salesmen with the goal to promote the products to veterinary offices and pet shops, and six salesmen in charge of commercial tasks. In 2008, when Dr. Cavestro joined Marpet, it began a new era. With the positive energy Cavestro brought into the company, Marpet was able to bring new products to the market with the same goal to ensure proper nutrition, but with innovative and exclusive techniques, like “GreenMeat Dog Horse” and “GreenGO Snack.”
In addition to being present in the national territory, Marpet also expanded into Germany, Austria, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia and Japan.
